Description Michael Schuerig 2003-10-29 14:55:55 UTC
Version: 1.5.4 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20030908 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20+preempt+lowlat

For topically organized folders filtering is often impractical. In these cases, it would be nice if there was a per folder option to the effect that message sent in reply to original messages already in that folder are moved there, too (unless overriden by explicit filters).

Say, I have a folder "Linux-general" where I manually put various messages broadly related to Linux. Then, when I reply to one of these message, I want the reply to be moved to the "Linux-general" folder automatically.

Michael

This would also enable KMail to be conveniently used in IMAP bulletin boards: where you are reading a shared IMAP folder and are replying by storing there, too.

Roland.

"Defining the sent-mail folder on a folder basis" is also part of wishlist Bug 56133.
Comment 3 Michael Schuerig 2004-09-23 13:39:18 UTC
Implemented in KMail 1.7
