Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs Just one remarq : I've *only* a 1024x768 screen !!! Gideon take a lot of place and few elements are out of screen (even in full screen mode). There are also few unremovable "IDEAItabs" : allow to check which tabs are shown and which aren't...
Some tabs are disabled at: Project -> Project Options... -> Plugins Other tabs are disabled at: Settings -> Configure KDevelop... -> Plugins The ones that aren't you can't disable are needed and there is probably a very good reason why they can't be disabled. Can you be more explicit? Which tabs do you feel that should be allowed to disapear and aren't? Which elements are out of screen ?
As I understand, this does not refer to enable/disable of tabs rather than to (temporarily) hiding/unhiding. There was a similar wish recently (also about sorting tabs if I remeber right), this could probably be marked a duplicate.
If I understand it correctly, this issue will be solved with the new KMDI based IDEAl mode implementation, where moving of views is possible (and the view tabs are smaller).

This might be a dupe, but not of 60042
#1 kdevelops own IDEAl mode was removed ==> the tab wrapping / space problem is a kmdi thing now. ==> it's the same as bug #58825 keeping #58825 open until the space problem is solved. any comments? =) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 58825 ***
