Description Ismail Donmez 2003-10-20 08:42:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Compiler: gcc 3.3
OS: Linux

How to reproduce :

Configure Desktop-> Show Mounted CDROM devices on Desktop

Mount a cdrom device , notice that desktop is refreshed but there are no cdrom icons on desktop and looking under ~/Desktop/ there is no new *.desktop file.

Now just restart KDE but do *not* umount cdrom. At the next startup you will see the cdrom icon on desktop. This is a regression on cvs-head because it was working fine before.

Still does not work on cvs-head.

I have no problems with KDE 3.5.2 from fedora5. CD-rom's are working as expected, even showing up on the desktop and all.
Can i suggest: bug closed?

No , if you manually mount they still don't show up. KDE 3.5.2.
