Description David Cornish 2003-10-18 15:48:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

I have view|attachments|inline selected and when I display an e-mail with embedded images in text mode, they all display correctly at the bottom of the e-mail. However, in the HTML view mode, they should be placed inline at various points through the message. KMail however merely displays blank boxes where the images should be and still puts them at the end rather than displaying them in place (inline). I'll attach a sample e-mail for this, which KMail fails on and Evolution displays just fine.

Hi,

I use Kmail 1.7.1, and this problem still exists. I read Bug 6710, but I don't agree that this is a duplicate of that bug. The images *are* decoded, but sit at the bottom of the message, just not at the position in the html code. Where they should be, the alt-text is displayed.

But then again, not all HTML-messages have this behaviour. Some display just right, and some don't.
