Description Josh Berry 2003-10-09 05:24:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2.x
OS: Linux

When creating a new tab in Konsole, the background in the new tab is drawn improperly. The old tab is fine (even when it is first created), but the new one is usually either complete black, or a tiling of some portion of the background image. Moving or resizing the Konsole window with the new tab selected seems to correct this.

Steps to reproduce:

- Start Konsole
- Note that the translucent background seems to be OK.
- Open a new tab
- Note the translucent background was drawn improperly in the new tab.
- Move or resize the Konsole window
- Note the translucent background redraws OK
