Description jordi 2003-10-02 20:34:11 UTC
Version: 1.2-alpha (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Umbrello 1.1 won't open XMI made from Umbrello 1.2-alpha. It just says, "There was an error openning <file>"
Comment 1 Oliver Kellogg 2003-10-02 21:20:36 UTC
Sorry, this is not possible.
When we speak of "backward compatibility", we mean the
other direction: It will be possible to load umbrello-1.1
XMI files into umrello-1.2.

What you mean is forward compatibility and yes, we don't want this to be
possible!
