Description Nick Pietraniec 2003-09-30 20:45:04 UTC
Version: 0.13.2 (using kde 3.1.4) (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

when I open a pdf file in kghostview and scroll downward on a pdf with my mouse wheel, the page scrolls normally until a page change. When the page changes, the top of the previous page will flash for a very short amount of time before page the next page is displayed. This can be disconcerting for end users and makes it looks like it's skipping through multiple pages.

When a page change occurs, it looks like the program needs to reposition itself at the top of the page and move to the next page. Instead of repositioning to the top of the page, moving to the next page, and then redrawing, it looks like kghostview is moving to the top of the page, redrawing, moving to the next page, and then redrawing again.

I also tested with a .ps file and didn't see this behavior happening, but this might have been due to the fact that the pdf file I was viewing was much larger than the ps file I tested afterwards.
