Description Christoph Eckert 2003-09-26 19:33:23 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When creating new link to application, the dialog offers too much complicated and often not needed information to the user.

Perhaps it is useful to concentrate the central settings in the first pages and put the advenced setting to pages more on the right.

Sorry, wrong window

I agree. I also think it should begin with a list of applications in the menus, like the 'open with...' dialog, and only after clicking on an 'advanced' button or something should the user be able to enter a path or select from the filesystem.
