Description Paulo Fidalgo 2003-09-21 16:21:47 UTC
Version: 3.1.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-test5

In "Tools" when select "Open Terminal" the konsole opens but without environment settings like dir and file colors, and "bash completation" features.
To get this environment settings I need to run "source /etc/profile".

There is no sense to start the shell as login shell from there. Use ~/.bashrc
