Version:           3.0.0alpha6 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    Unspecified Linux
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) 
OS:          Linux

After changing the desktop with shift-tab and returning to the desktop with gideon the mouse cursor is
gone over the editor. It can be brought back by closing the file that is being edited and then opening it again.
It occasionally also happens in other situations but I could not reproduce it so far.
