Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice) OS: Linux It would be cool if the Chat window would confirm when the user has accepted and completed receiving a file. For example if I sent a file, and left the room, I would not know if the file was accepted/sent or not.
Usually a file-transfer has got some kind of progress-dialog, isn't that enough information?
There are actualy no visual ack then the invitation has correctly been done. No way to finaly cancel an invitaiton. No visual notification if the the other side declined the invitaiton. For all theses reason, this is in my TODO, but i don't think i will do that before the real feature frezee.
What happend to kopete using kio for filetransfers? We would get the kde-wide transfer-dialogs for free.

*** Bug 92851 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
My proposal in comment #13 in bug 74075 would fix this too.
aside from more notifications.. there should also be a link to the file that was sent to you :) i hate having to open konqueror everytime and looking for the file.. although it only takes a few seconds.. having a link would be pretty helpful :D
This is implemented in trunk will be in KDE 4.2
