Description Holger Schröder 2003-09-10 20:17:56 UTC
Version: cvs head, about a week old (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Hi,

gideon crashes for me when i right click on a file, which i just added to a target.

what i did was:
i removed one ui file from my project using the automake manager, right click on the file -> select remove -> click ok in the "remove from cvs too" dialog.
then i clicked on the program name in automake manager, clicked on the "Add existing files" button, and selected an existing file to be added to the project. i clicked ok in the add to cvs too dialog.
then the automake manager was still open, and the cvs window (i am using ideal mode) was layered on top of it, it was hiding the lower part of the automake window.

then i right clicked on the new file in automake manager and gideon crashed with the following backtrace.

thx, Holger

Can you retest this?
Comment 2 Jens Dagerbo 2004-07-20 00:55:01 UTC
Can't reproduce. Unanswered for.. umm.. 10 months. Assuming gone.
Comment 3 Jens Dagerbo 2006-03-25 18:45:18 UTC
Just reported again as Bug #123496. Apparently, it lives.
Comment 4 Jens Dagerbo 2006-03-25 18:45:51 UTC
*** Bug 123496 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 5 Jarek Koszuk 2006-09-23 15:45:08 UTC
Here is a way to reproduce this bug. In Automake Manager:
1. In the upper view select any subproject that has some targets with files.
2. Make sure files used to build some target are visible in the bottom view.
3. In the upper view left-click somewhere outside of the subprojects tree, so no node is selected.
4. Right-click on the file in the bottom view - kdevelop crashes.

Tested on kdevelop-3.3.4 and kdevelop-3.2.0.
Comment 6 Megan Webb 2006-12-05 12:18:58 UTC
Testing this on 3.4 branch revision r610450 I am not able to reproduce this crash.
automake manager has had a lot of bug fixes in the 3.4 tree.

Please reopen if you can reproduce on the latest from svn on 3.4 branch.
