Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.22.2-mark-athlon-

when i start up kopete, i get killed by all these "*** is now offline" messages and then another series of "*** is online" knotify thingies...
i've set the message for offline and online.

I can confirm this. The events should be disabled during the logon.
