Version:           2.2 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB

When I enable the block selection I can not do select-all.
The result of a select-all certainly does look like a block selection (since I don't visually see the selection stop at linebreaks) so this does not make snense.

I suggest to always allow a 'select all' to work.
