Description Ian Wadham 2003-08-26 04:39:25 UTC
Version: 3.0.0a5 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB

Downloaded an hour ago, at about 1:30 am GMT on 26-08-03. There appears to be
no function, menu item or toolbar item to create a new project. What's going on?

Try opening gideon from a konsole terminal and look at the debug output. You
will see a lot of line starting with:
kdevelop (core): SPLASH: message

One of these should be
kdevelop (core): SPLASH: message=Loading plugin: Application Wizard

If this is the case, then at least the new project plugin gets loaded. Please
check and report back.
