Version: 1.5.3 (using KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 20030722 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21 When new mail comes in to Kmail, it remains hidden untill you use the scroll bar and go up.. Would it be possable to have new mail appear at the top , not above the top.. IE: you are at the top of the page, new mail comes in, and the scroll bar stays where you left it, but you have to move up.. Sorry for the blurb, kinda hard to explain..
Using kde-3.2 alpha2, the list of message is scrolled for new message being visible. So this bug can be closed.

I'm using kde 3.2 with kmail 1.6 under debian woody stable. I still have this problem in my IMAP inbox folder when sorting by date with newest messages on top. When new mail arrives, I have to scroll up to see the mail. I'm used to using mozilla mail, where this works fine, so it is quite irritateing. Regards, Johan
Can anyone confirm that this bug has been solved, even for IMAP folders? The scroll offset should automatically be adjusted when new mail arrives.
