Description ecarpenter 2003-08-23 13:23:39 UTC
Version: Gideon 3.0.0 5a (CVS date 2003/08/23) (using KDE KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

If one select/click on a document item in the doctreeview, the item just above the one that was click is displayed/loaded.
Comment 1 Jens Dagerbo 2003-08-23 15:12:31 UTC
I can't reproduce this. Do you see it with all documentation sets or just one? If
one, which one?
Comment 2 ecarpenter 2003-08-23 17:53:49 UTC
Firstly I reported the symptom incorrectly. It is not the item above the one
selected, but rather the one after the one selected.

I have found this error only in the "PHP" and "KDE2 Development book" document
tree's.

Closing this with INVALID because this is not a bug, this is a feature ;).
If the doctreeview item has no assotiated URL then the first child of it is taken
and it's URL is shown.

This is still a problem.
To recreate the problem open the php documentation tree.
"PHP"|"Function Reference".

For Example:
Clicking on "Date and Time functions" will open the topic above it "Database
(dmb-style) abstraction layer functions".

If one opens a topic lower down like "YAZ" the topic below it is opened "YP/NIS
Functions"

Followed all steps of #4 and could not reproduce it with KDevelop HEAD and:

SuSE 8.0
gcc 2.95.3
kde 3.1.3
QT 3.1.2

and also

SuSE 7.2
gcc 2.95.3
kde 3.0.2
QT 3.0.4

So the bug was fixed somewhen.
