Installed from:    Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-0.13mdk

when i double click an mp3 or wav (cd track) the player open but don't start to play the track.
i can stop and then press start again but nothing happens.
counter don't move. 0:00

conflict in pc between 2 audio cards 
when I removed one of the cards the player started to work
