Description Nachiketa Sahoo 2003-08-21 04:32:01 UTC
Version: 3.0.0a5 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r6

in gideon-3.0.0.a5 on kde-3.1.3
with a file open in an editor in a saveed state
copy some text from from somewhere and paste it in editor
undo
it shows save icon on the tab, meaning document is yet to be saved
click on save button or hitting ^s does not remove the save icon from the tab.

It should. Or no save icon should appear if no change is due to be saved.

that works with cvs head kate, backport not possible
Comment 2 Jens Dagerbo 2003-09-08 08:06:00 UTC
I doubt this was ever a Kate problem. We do still have this issue, I believe,
with the tabs of the non-kmdi ideal mode. Since it is about to be obsoleted, I
never cared to track down this bug, and I think the report might well stay closed.
