Version: (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB This selection didn't work under 3.0 and doesn't work under 3.1. If KDE weren't superior in other ways, I'd go to Gnome like a shot. The small black cursor is hard on the eyes. For those who already have bad eyes... This is not trivial. There are at least 7 similar reports. One of them from me. Let me repeat the question I asked last time. Where is the cursor image stored, so I can just go in and replace it? What's wrong with that?

If KDE weren't superior in other ways, I'd go to Gnome like a shot. The small black cursor is hard on the eyes. For those who already have bad eyes... This is AFAIK fixed in 3.1.3. At any rate, please do not file multiple copies of the same reports. That only lowers the probability of something getting fixed quickly. If we sees 7 reports all in one spot, it's easy to put together "this is a big issue". If they are all separate, it's hard to even determine whether it's a real bug or not. At any rate, I'd appreciate knowing about those duplicates.
