Description Eggert Ehmke 2003-08-20 19:11:44 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

I want to establish a ssh session to a remote machine. I create a session and enter the command
ssh user@1.2.3.4
in the session/execute field of the konsole configure dialog. The IP address 1.2.3.4 is changing on a regular basis, I can keep it in a environment variable. However, it is not possible to enter environment variables in the edit box.

Implemented in KDE 4. Environment variable expansion is supported in the command and initial directory fields.
