Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.2.1 20021207 (Gentoo Linux 3.2.1-20021207) OS: Linux I work night shifts on occasion, and regularly enter a shift in that runs 7pm - 7am, the problems also occur for other events that run over the midnight changeover. * when you have just opened korganizer (clicking the icon in the system tray), and double click an event the details show as correct duration, but start is eg 13/02/03 (dd/mm/yy format) 7pm, end is 14/02/03 7pm. Ie. the time is out by a signifigant amount, but the duration is correct. If you click cancel and open it again, it displays the correct time, If instead you click ok it changes the event's time to the stuffed numbers
I copied this as a separate bug report from bug #54485 (which contained several different bugs). So, the actual reporter is Joshua McKinney.
Joshua, I can't reproduce your problem with KOrganizer from KDE 3.1.3. Can you still reproduce the problem? If so, what versions of KOrganizer/KDE/Qt are you using, and what exactly are you doing, and what exactly does the event contain? Thanks, Reinhold
Since Joshua hasn't responded for a month, and I can't reproduce the behavior of the bug, I'm closing the bug as invalid. If the problem still appears, Joshua can always reopen the bug. Reinhold
Subject: Re: End time of event spanning two days is off Sorry, I've been pretty busy with work, uni and life in general and hadn't had a chance to respond. Add to that my linux machine is kinda screwed in general at the moment. Never try upgrading kde, x11, your kernel and running prelink all without a reboot - especially when several of those crashed half way through :( So I haven't had a chance to retest on newer version of Korganizer. This may have been fixed with the other bugs I entered at the same time very much related to this. cheers, Joshua McKinney W: www.bitfed.com M: +61 (0402) 424 989 W: +61 (02) 6290 9008 H: +61 (02) 6241 2816
