Version: 2.2.1 (KDE 3.1.3) (using KDE KDE 3.1.3) Installed from: Debian stable Packages OS: Linux Load several songs into the playlist, repeating them several times (i.e. A,B,C,D,A,B,C,B,C,D). Let one of them play. Click mouse to select/deselect another or click "forward" to next song. Noatun will drop the file it was playing and will play another, randomly chosen (or somehow chosen). Sometimes it goes into an infinite loop of highlighting the next song, then next, and so on, without playing them, and does not respond to mouse events.
is this split playlist?
What do you mean "split"? It just the playlist that appears when you click the "playlist" button. It appeared that duplication of files is not important. The playlist is buggy by itself: randomly plays songs regardless of their order.

I still don't understand this bugreport. Are you sure you don't have random playack turned on?
No. "Random playback" is off.
Then I have no idea what is going on, I can add the same file several times and have no problems pressing forward/back as often as I like to.
I still don't believe you. Can you attempt to reproduce again?
As nobody seems to be able to reproduce this bug I'm closing it as invalid now. If you have found a way to reproduce this on more than one machine please reopen this bugreport.
