Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.3KDE 1.2) Installed from: Unspecified LinuxMandrake RPMs OS: Linux I would like to use the link tag information <link ref="next" href="nextPage.html"> to have some automatic way to go to the next page in multipage documents. Such as using the right arrow button or some mouse gesture or whatever. This would make reading howto's and the like easier since I would only need to use the arrow keys to navigate the document.
If this is going to be implemented, please consider a general solution. What I have in mind is along these lines: A (javascript or other) script extracts the appropriate <link ref="next" ...> from the page's DOM tree, then sets the current location to the page refered to. This script is attached to a button on the toolbar and an entry in the "Go" menu. While these scripts and their triggers ought to be provided by a standard install, the enhanced geek value is, of course, that a mechanism such as the proposed one would enable users to write their own scripts and trigger them from menu/toolbar.
