Description mela 2003-07-26 22:51:39 UTC
Version: 1.2.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD

After KDE update from 3.1 to 3.1.2 the standard X11 xterm font isn't longer available in konsole. The substitute is very poor and not as clearly readable as the standard-misc-fonts.

Did you notice the pkg-message on install, suggesting you add /usr/local/share/fonts to your X
Fonts path, and xset fp rehash?

Check /usr/ports/x11/kdebase3/pkg-message for the unformatted message, where %%PREFIX
%% is /usr/local and %%X11BASE%% is /usr/X11R6

Timeout; need more information anyway. It seems more PR-worthy than BR-worthy anyway.
