Just like konqueror, I would like to see konsole being able to split up his main window horizontaly and verticaly.

I already imagine 4 or 6 shell running one in side of another without having to manage their position. (actualy kwin can't mosaic windows)

I imagine too, running mc for browsing files in top of the window with a shell under. just like the terminal emulator in konqueror :)

You can manually hack a Konqueror profile running multiple Konsole parts 
already.
