Description Sean Lynch 2003-07-03 05:55:03 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB-athlon

I would like to see a way to change users easily (especially to root) while file browsing in konq. I think having it in a way like kcontrol, where there is some type of administration button, would be nice. I takes forever to load the "File Manager- Super User Mode", as well as an inconvience to have to open up another konq (which doesn't seem to share the same resources, thus slow).

Just a wish of mine I'd like to see implemented. Btw, I did find bug 21434, http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21434, but seems the response is to use kdesu, which if i'm not mistaken, is what the super user mode does?
