Version: 3.0.0a4 (using KDE 3.1.2) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.3 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-1-686 In Childframe and Toplevel modes, the toolbar that contains a button for each open file, titled KMdiTaskBar, cannot be moved from the default docking position of top left. If I drag the handle on any other toolbar, it will move around the screen and dock if moved near the edges of the main frame. If I drag the handle on KMdiTaskBar, it will immeditely undock and the only way to get it to dock again is to double click on the title of the toolbar, at which point it docks back to the previous position.

confirmed with the kmdi test program in kdelibs/kmdi/test. KDE CVS 20041229
It is no longer possible to enable this toolbar within KDevelop itself, and I use Idea mode now. I have not yet found kdelibs/kmdi/test to see if it can be reproduced there. Since this is no longer a reproducible problem in kdevelop, I'm closing this bug
