Description Marco Krohn 2003-06-18 09:50:24 UTC
Version: 3.1.0 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030415 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

I want to change the "file type" of a python file. Therefore I right click on xyz.py choose "Edit File Type...". In the following dialog I switch to the "Embedding" tab and choose "Embedded Text Viewer" or anything else.

After pressing OK the result seems not to be saved. At least the association does not work and looking at the "Edit File Type" entries again the choosen version does not show up in the dialog.
