Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: GCC 3.2 OS: Linux Gideon currently performs a 'save all' after choosing 'build project', but does not do the same thing when you start debugging. I think Gideon should automatically save all files and then prompt to rebuild the binaries if they are out of date. Currently, starting a debug uses the old binaries, regardless of whether the source has changed or not.

If bug 72360 was a bug, so is this.

KDevelop from CVS HEAD (20040808) has still this 'feature'. This should be configurable as 'Compile before Run' at least.
Jan it works already in "save-compile-run" the only problem is "save-compile-debug" like the bug report says.

VC6 did it so I was very used to that behaviour... For all the time I have wasted because the debugger was still running an old binary and I couldn't figure out what was going on I probably dont need to be reminded anymore to recompile, but it's still a nice one.
