Description Thomas Christen 2003-06-08 17:17:01 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB-athlon

When trying to open a recent file which does not exist anymore, a dialog tells me that the document does not exist. Confirming this, the open document dialog does not appear again to chose another file.

It would be much more convenient if that dialog would reopen so that I could browse the file-tree for the correct document.

Thank you

Do you mean File/Open or File/Open Recent?
I know how to fix it either way but it depends on which one you mean (I'm doing
some KFileDialog work at the moment which might be related to this bug).

open document dialog

I mean the dialog appearing when starting any koffice application. It's not the
dialog opening from menu/open...
Check the attached screenshot.
