Now there are only two fonts available: cursor and dingbats, and no bold fonts are available. Both cursor and dingbats fonts are also too spaced. Thanks, Yann
Seems to be a common problem with Debian, quoting "It appears that fontconfig disables bitmapped fonts by default in more recent packages. Therefore, you have to answer the appropriate Debconf question to ensure that /etc/fonts/local.conf is set properly." Read the debian-kde archive.
