Description Willie Sippel 2003-05-27 11:52:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

A new setting in kcontrol/ mouse would be greatly appreciated, something like the 'detect accidental double-clicks' feature in Windows.
I use a Wacom Intuos2 tablet, and sometimes when I try to drag and drop some icon or something, the single-click gets registred as double-click, so it
would be great if KDE were able to treat a double-click with an intervall of up to 10 or 20 ms as a single click.

Please suggest this to TrollTech. This setting is not in KDE, but in Qt itself.

I have this problem from a long time. Just that i'm using a NORMAL 3-button wheel mouse.
I think there is like a vibration or something with the mouse, that causes to do a double click when i press single click, with insane low click interval, like 1 ms or lower. This is of course impossible to do by hand, but it still happens, and i've even had some crashes of konqueror because of it.
I'm using Fedora core 4, with kde 3.5-rc1 at the moment, but the problem is much older.
