Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB In Midnight-Commander view you copy a file from one side to the other and afterwards rename the target file. Now if you want to renam it again it doesn't work, if you delete it - both (source and target) get deleted. That is probably due to the fact, that the source file doesn't get unselected during copy (drag & drop). If you first go back and unselect the source after copying the above doesn't happen, even if you select the source again before you apply your actions to the target file in the other window.
Your bug report is a bit difficult to understand. Are you saying that, when you have more than one view in Konqueror (for file management) and you have selected files on both views, Konqueror treats "selection" as all the files in both views?

Not in general, but in this case, where you have copied a file, the original is treated as a selected one, even if you work with the other view.
Believed to be the same problem as BR50374 which is fixed for KDE 3.1.2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 50374 ***
