Description Matthias Schniedermeyer 2003-05-22 18:02:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I would like to be able to get the name of the current session window for a shell-script.
e.g.

dcop $KONSOLE_DCOP_SESSION caption

or what ever. Currently i could only rename the session, but don't get the name.

It would also be great if i could get the Virtual-Desktop.
e.g.
dcop $KONSOLE_DCOP_SESSION desktop

Added "dcop $KONSOLE_DCOP_SESSION sessionName". Virtual desktop stuff sound
like something you want to ask kwin.
