Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux When using alt-f3 to bring Window Operation Menu, i expect to be able to navigate & select w/ the arrow keys & enter. I can do this for the most part, but often I am traversing down the list with the down arrow and the selection highlight jumps to the top. I am using the focus policy 'focus follows mouse' and it *seems* to happen less often when the focused window has been focused, and then I move the mouse off to the root window -- but it does still happen.
Do I understand it correctly that when you're moving with arrow keys in the menu, and then you move the mouse outside of it, your currently selected menu entry gets deselected?

What I meant was that it the selection seemed to 'skip' and navigating through, but I know think that it may be due to the fact that my keyboard tray is not the most stable, and I have a trackball sitting here on the tray right next to it. The vibration from me hitting the down key is making the trackball move every-so-slightly, but enough. Sorry for the possibly bogus report. --jordan
So, in short: If the mouse pointer is outside of the popup menu, menu is navigated using keyboard, and the mouse pointer moves (vibrations, etc.), the currently selected popup menu entry is unselected. I'll see if there can be something done about this.

qt-bugs@ issue #49417.
Bugs 74778 and 77166 are clearly duplicates of each other, but they are not so obviously duplicates of this bug. This ends with a qt-bug number? Is there a link where we can see what that bug report looks like? Apparently trolltech has no bugs.
