Version: 0.6.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: GCC 2.95.3 OS: Linux When looking at sent and received messages in the history there is no way to decrypt them, which renders the function of the history next to useless, as I can't read what was written.
I see a way to fix this, it is to store message in plain text (decrypted) in the history. but then, we lost security
Storing decrypted messages would lose security indeed. I think it would be best to save them encrypted and decrypt them on the fly when viewing the history. The user would be asked for his GPG passphrase once.
History is now saved as plain text (in HEAD).
I have the same problem with kopete 0.8.0 (kde 3.2). The history is encrypted and there is no way to decrypt the messages in the history with kopete.
History is still encrypted here (kopete 7.4 debian sid).
history is still encrypted in kopete 8.2 (kde 3.2.2) .. so - the bug isn't resolved after all?
