Description Christof Wolf 2003-05-16 02:50:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

Hi,

I set up a simple mail filter under
Settings/Configure Filters
There is no problem everything is fine, but if I am creating in the same session a POP filter under
Settings/Configure POP Filters
just all criterias from the ordinary filter and from the Popfilter are mismatching and vice versa.
I have to restart kmail every time, if I want to have the right criterias there.

ciao
christof

PS: It was in the version 1.4 the same problem.

Sorry, but I don't understand. Please give an example. Furthermore
please update do KDE 3.1.1. If I remember correctly a bug which is
probably related to your problem was fixed.

ok, there are an example,

under filter settings you can set up a filter criteria like

message contains hotmail

if you have done this, try to setup a POP filter and there you can chose the
same

message contains hotmail

BUT, if you close the Kmail, and you setup now a POP filter you don't have the
option

message

I had bad experience to setup POP filters and normal incoming filters in the
same time, once it happened that all filters just "disappeared"

Thanks for the example. The bug has been fixed. The fix will be in KMail
1.5.3.
