Version: 3.0.0a4 (using KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030309 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20 When I start Gideon, the pane with plugin tabs (konsole, breakpoints, cvs, grep etc) is too large and won't get smaller even if I try. However, if I click each tab (=display their contents once) at least once, it suddenly becomes possible. My first guess was that couse of the problem were inappropriate minimum sizes but given this workaround, it' s probabIy that some components need to update their layout before it becomes possible to shrink them.
Correction: simply clicking on all tabs once from left to right isn't enough. After it, I must once more select some (any) other tab than the last one. Only *then* does resizing become possible.
The workaround doesn't seem to work in the IDEAl mode.
Does it only happen in IDEAl mode?
Closing, looks like this has been fixed in 3.0.0a5.
