Description Beat Fasel 2003-05-03 02:08:33 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I find it confusing that noatun allows to show more than one interface at a time, i.e., it is possible, to display at the same time a K-Jofol and a WinAmp interface.
While this may be cool to demonstrate the capabilities of Noatun, it is confusing in my opinion, as it looks like there are two different applications running at the same time, even though it's only one application with two interfaces.

Cheers,
Beat

Not all interfaces are limited to the graphical environment. Interfaces that do not conflict in the same perceptual space would be admissible.

However, the concern of two windowed UIs conflicting is a proper one.

Possibe solution: indicate class of UI. Allow only one instance of each class at a time.
With this interpretation wishlist is considerable.

Guys, what do you think? Is assigning classes to UI plugings a sane suggestion?
