Description David Findlay 2003-04-30 04:51:50 UTC
Version: 1.61 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030309 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

I have two monitors, not using Xinerama. They run off a NVIDIA Twinview board. When I try and play a video on the second monitor it won't work, it just flashes blue once then stops. MPlayer works okay as does 3D,etc. Thanks,

David

that's probably because the second screen does not allow video overlays, instead of the video all you see is a blue area. To fix that you have to tell xine to autodetect which video mode to use. It's somewhere in .xinerc but I know too little about that file.

Since arts has been replaced in KDE4 by phonon, I think this bug is no longer relevant.
