Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.1.0) Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB KDevelop almost always crashes when opening or reopening a project. This also happens when the "reopen last project" option is enabled, in this case KDevelop crashes when starting. I can describe the crash as follows: When I start KDevelop with the "reopen last project" option enabled, the IDE window and splash screen appear, but then everything freezes up. I can hear the hard drive working intensively, but even after 20 minutes or so it's still frozen up. When the "reopen last project" option is disabled or there is no last project (due to the previous crash), the same thing happens. The freeze-up is so severe that I have to reset the computer, the entire system kind of freezes up.
KDevelop-2 is no longer supported. No further bugfix releases are planned for the 2.x series. A probably unrepeatable problem reported against an unsupported version. Closing.
