Description Alberto Marmodoro 2003-04-25 12:12:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

In my opinion the ability to edit multimedia files tags (at least for already supported types in konqueror preview) would be very useful. Consider also the ability to edit, or at least show, these properties for multiple files at once in the "Properties" dialog.
Thanks a lot.

You can individual tags for mp3 and oggs already (since 3.0) - just install
kdemultimedia and ago to file properties.

I' ve already installed that, but it only shows the current tags in the "meta info" tab, without the opportunity to edit them.
Nor is it available for multiple files at once, whence IMHO could show a condensed list of individual tags or maybe
mean values (for the numeric ones, that is bit rate, nr. of channels, resolution and so on)

All reports about file management mode reported against KDE 3 (konqueror) has been closed: konqueror in KDE 3 is no more developed and mantained. All bugs and wishes which could be interesting for Dolphin in KDE 4 (the new KDE file manager) has been collected into a specific list.

Please try the new file manager before request new features and report bugs.

Before submitting new reports check carefully the already opened KDE/Dolphin reports in order not to add duplicates.

Many thanks.
