Description Stevan White 2003-04-24 23:11:53 UTC
Version: 1.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
OS: Linux

In files containing hundreds of classes, the types list in the Attribute preferences can become so long as to be difficult to use.

A solution would be to replace it with a tree based on the Tree View. The primitive types should still come first, of course, but after that, list the defined types in a collapsible tree according to the user's own classification, in folders as they appear the Tree view.

Hmm, probably too difficult to implement and confusing on a small scale.

Wow. There's a bad reason for improving one's software!

Design software is useful for handling complex projects, but the software would be too confusing to use on projects that are simple enough not to warrant using the software...so...

Look...the Tree view was just a suggestion. The observation that the software becomes useless for large projects is not. Let me say it again: The list becomes to long as to be USELESS.
