Description Friedemann Schorer 2003-04-22 08:47:15 UTC
Version: 3.1 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: (sid)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-xfs

Hi :-)
I'd really love to have the possibility to make my distribution lists have an alias that appears on the TO-field in the header - but without all the clear text names and mailaddresses of the recipients.

Hi Friedemann,

what's wrong with the 'clear text' addresses? It's completely right in terms of
RFC and not userunfriendly IMHO.
Nevertheless this whishlist item has to be implemented in KMail...

Ciao,
Tobias
Comment 2 Friedemann Schorer 2003-05-02 18:07:12 UTC
Hi Tobias :-)

there's nothing wrong with clear text adresses - but I think it looks much
better to have a 'to'-field with 'all blah' instead of all the 50 adresses which
make up 'all blah'
But nevertheless - thanks for reassigning the wishlist to kmail - maybe now it's
on the right development team :-)

bye,

This feature is already implemented through the "add distribution list as To:" option. Therefore I believe that this report could be closed.
