Version: 3.0a4a (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: Debian stable Packages Compiler: gcc-3.2 OS: Linux I have imported a GTK+ C project successfully. (ran make/conf/exec in it) then I tried to close the project (with some open source windows, but with the program itself not running), which reslted in SIGSEGV. Here's the backtrace: 0x41238b89 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6 #0 0x41238b89 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6 #1 0x412ac000 in sys_sigabbrev () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0x410d1061 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #3 0x408ec9da in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4 #4 0x411c59d8 in sigaction () from /lib/libc.so.6 #5 0x40c3a9fe in QObject::activate_signal () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #6 0x40e8c114 in QObject::destroyed () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #7 0x40c38481 in QObject::~QObject () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #8 0x40c7598d in QTextDocument::~QTextDocument () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #9 0x40d3e035 in QTextEdit::~QTextEdit () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #10 0x40cfd958 in QMultiLineEdit::~QMultiLineEdit () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #11 0x40c6084b in QWidget::~QWidget () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #12 0x40c6084b in QWidget::~QWidget () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #13 0x40d2d098 in QWidgetStack::~QWidgetStack () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #14 0x40c6084b in QWidget::~QWidget () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #15 0x40d1ee6c in QTabWidget::~QTabWidget () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #16 0x40c6084b in QWidget::~QWidget () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #17 0x40d6396e in QDialog::~QDialog () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #18 0x41dfda38 in distpart_ui::~distpart_ui () from /usr/lib/kde3/libkdevdistpart.so #19 0x41df24a3 in DistpartDialog::~DistpartDialog () from /usr/lib/kde3/libkdevdistpart.so #20 0x41df1173 in DistpartPart::~DistpartPart () from /usr/lib/kde3/libkdevdistpart.so #21 0x080754a1 in ProjectManager::unloadLocalParts () #22 0x080737bd in ProjectManager::closeProject () #23 0x08075d0c in ProjectManager::qt_invoke () #24 0x40c3aab9 in QObject::activate_signal () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #25 0x40c3a9fe in QObject::activate_signal () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #26 0x40702fc8 in KAction::activated () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 #27 0x406f8e72 in KAction::slotActivated () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 #28 0x407031c2 in KAction::qt_invoke () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 #29 0x40c3aab9 in QObject::activate_signal () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #30 0x40e8d413 in QSignal::signal () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #31 0x40c502f5 in QSignal::activate () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #32 0x40d0306f in QPopupMenu::mouseReleaseEvent () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #33 0x40c65566 in QWidget::event () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #34 0x40be84da in QApplication::internalNotify () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #35 0x40be7f8b in QApplication::notify () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #36 0x4088d3aa in KApplication::notify () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4 #37 0x40b9cdaa in QETWidget::translateMouseEvent () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #38 0x40b9b41b in QApplication::x11ProcessEvent () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #39 0x40bac83d in QEventLoop::processEvents () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #40 0x40bf9dae in QEventLoop::enterLoop () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #41 0x40bf9d0b in QEventLoop::exec () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #42 0x40be8632 in QApplication::exec () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 #43 0x0806636d in main () #44 0x411b4a51 in __libc_start_main () from /lib/libc.so.6
It kind of looks like a bad install. Could you uninstall it, and test again with KDevelop from CVS? Thanks
