Version: 1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs OS: Linux From Help menu, choose "Umbrella UML Modeller Handbook" After a very long time, we get the usual, useless KDE Help Center. Nothing about Umbrello at all, near as I can tell.
The same thing happens if you click the Help button in the Properties dialog.
This would be specific to the RPM or possibly the Mandrake install. The 1.1.1 Mandrake RPM certainly includes the documentation. Works fine from CVS.
I find some docs in /usr/local/kde/share/doc/HTML/en/umbrello including working_with_umbrello.docbook Is this what the application is supposed to find? Well, it doesn't. But I can cd to the directory as a normal user, and open the file.
Same in the 1.1.1 RPM. Are you sure you don't have to register it somehow with the KDE help thing? Because, I can see these documents, but the KDE thing doesn't seem to know they exist.
Found the problem. I had installed Umbrello from a tarball once, and hadn't un-installed that before I installed the RPM. Now the handbook comes up OK.
