Description Bernd Abele 2003-04-10 19:26:16 UTC
Version: 2.1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: i386-linux-gcc configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables
OS: Linux

Only thing i want was to test the KDevelop of my new Suse 8.2 distribution with a small program, running on my embedded linux system.
on Suse 7.3 with KDevelop 2.0 it was no problem to compile this program (there are some ioperms and outb, inb commands) with the compiler option -O, but KDevelop 2.1.5 won't do it.

I always get the following error message:

configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables

I have no idea what's wrong !

KDevelop 2.1.x is no longer under development.

Please update to KDevelop 3.0 and reopen the bug report if the problem presists.
