Installed from:    Gentoo
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.2
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r2

I changed space vs tabs mode in katepart. It applied for my current active source file but not to the other open source files. I had to close and reopen them for the new settings to take effect.
