Installed from:    Red Hat Linux 7.3
Compiler:          gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113.0)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.18

The reminder window doesn't show the location of the reminded event. One has to open the event in korganizer manually to find out where the event is happening.

This is a more general problem. Currently, the location setting is ignored 
everywhere (i.e. not displayed in any relevant place).  
 
This, however, leads to the question which information is worth to be 
displayed, and which is not. We have Summary, location, start/end date/time, 
reminders, description, categories, Access, Attendees, recurrence information 
etc. Displaying all of them is simply impossible, so we have to select a few 
important...

I agree that the reminder window should show the _important_ information only. 
 
So IMHO it should display at least answers to the questions "What?", "When?" and 
"Where?". This translates into summary, start/end date/time and location.

Who said all the information should be displayed? There should be a 
_possibility_ to the user to determine what kind of information is important 
to be shown on the default view. However, I also agree with Dirk, but I would 
like to underline the freedom of choice and configurability.

A configurable reminder with reasonable defaults sounds good to me, too.

I'm not talking about reminder, I'm talking about the issue as a whole. It 
should be configurable in every subarea, be it web export, default calendar 
view, etc. It could be a global switch, however.

However, I don't set it to resolved because I agree with Karo that the amount of information shown in the reminder window should be configurable.

The location is displayed in Korganizer 4.1.

It is also possible to customize the reminder's message or to select a sound to play.
